I am currently in the middle of what could be considered the most important exams of my schooling career, with my next one just around the corner on Monday morning.

Normal people in my situation would be holed-up in a room, buried under text books and furiously cramming.

Me? I do this:

It makes me wonder how the hell I've managed to come this far.

I actually started this video about four months ago, and then like the other 1238283290 videos I have sitting half-finished on my computer, it went untouched. Until now.

Because nothing inspires creativity more than the crushing pressures of final school exams.

Exams will be the death of me. I'm 2 in, and I've already given up D:

On the bright side, I will never EVER have to look anything to do with Belonging, or Religious Studies ever again. :D :D

Of course, rather than studying for my second English paper tomorrow morning (3 essays in 2 hours - kill me now.), I'm on livejournal. Deciding tht now, of all times, would be the perfect opportunity to pimp this wonderful little friending meme over at criminalxminds. Go oooonn, you know you want to.

The episode was pretty much all around awesome. I'm totally stoked for this season, especially if it means more of the Foyet/Hotch story arc. Though I really do hope they catch him eventually, because I don't think I could take an even more angsty!Hotch for an entire season. Seriously, give the poor guy a break already!

And I couldn't be happier to have back my weekly dose of the hotness that is Emily Prentiss <3. Expect a picspam of epic proportions within the next few days, because UNF. Damn did she look fine.

LOOK! So pretty *strokes*

They even had Emily and JJ spend more than one nanosecond in a scene together! I know, shocking.

And now I can't wait for the next episode. Oh show, how I've missed you so <3

Criminal Minds - Emily/JJ Picspam (3x04)

It is ridiculous how addicted I've become to this show. And to this ship. AND to picspamming. So here I was thinking - what the hell, why not just combine all my addictions into one great super package! Thus, this wonderful (yet completely pointless) little picspam was born.

I have to admit, this ship has now managed to overtake all my other current fandom ships, in all it's pretty, femslashy, subtexty (yet ultimately doomed) glory. Their potential first grabbed my attention a few episodes after Emily's first appearance in season 2, especially during that infamous scene in Revelations. However from the premiere of season 3 onwards it's just been a whole avalanche of femslashy subtext!

This little scene here, at the end of 3x04 (Children of the Dark), is easily one of my all-time favourite Emily/JJ moments. It's a sweet scene, after a great episode, which shows one of the more tender moments between the two ~~as they cement their relationship in canon~~. There's also some very, very blatant flirting and eye-sex going on here. Let's just say this was probably the moment when the chemistry between these two kind of just hit me over head like a great big anvil. Not that it hadn't hit me before, but this was just a little to obvious to miss.

Anyway, on with the picspam!

Recap:
When home invasions involve the murder of entire families, the BAU is called to Denver to identify the killers who possibly have been abused while in foster care. A teenage girl survives a brutal attack on the rest of her family, and Emily bonds with her. Feeling the girl has no family and nowhere to go, Emily offers to bring her home with her to live and take care of her. Hotch disapproves, saying "This is the job and I need to know you can be objective.", to which Emily replies "I need to know I can be human."

Unfortunately, the girl's extended family comes forward, leaving Emily feeling a little lost. This scene takes place just afterwards, on the team's flight back home after wrapping up the case.

Emily: [Not too convincingly]Yeah.

Emily: [Looks away, smiling sadly]
JJ: I can see it.
Emily: [Turns back to JJ] Yeah?
JJ: [Nods, smiling]

God. Could these two be anymore obvious?

and JJ decide that, yes, they want kids. Heee.

I remember this show aired down here in Aus some time ago, and it actually looked decent enough - interesting storyline, characters and such. To be honest I'm not sure why I never really bothered to watch it...
Anyway, more to the point, WHY DIDN'T I KNOW SARAH SHAHI WAS IN THIS!? *flails*

Seriously. ~~Carmen~~ Sarah, as a cop (detective, whatever.). Being all snarky and badass with that cute leather jacket and the badge and gun and everything, just... GUH. I'm sorry, my brain turned to mush all over again. *sigh* I'm going to have to go out and buy this on dvd now, ~~with the money I don't have.~~

So anyway, I decided to make a batch of icons with some Life screencaps, because Photoshop finally stopped being a bitch and I just couldn't resist trying out some new coloring with the gorgeous Sarah as my subject. Heee!

Well, I think that this has been sitting around here gathering dust for long enough now. I can't even remember when I actually created this journal.. must have been a few months back or something. But anyway:

Here be the first entry! =]

It's times like this I wish I had something witty and/or insightful to say, but you know.

I'm mainly going to be using this journal for personal blog entries (read as: boring rants on life that no one will care about.), and the occasional icon post, if I can actually get around to opening my Photoshop. We're not on the best of terms at the moment.

So yes, keep on the lookout for updates, which I promise I'll be making sure to have up regularly.
